Cries from every corner are simultaneous events in numerous neighbourhoods, towns and cities in Massachusetts and other USA states from 11am – 1pm on September 26, the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons.
The objective of the events are to call for the elimination of nuclear weapons in order to release billions of USA federal dollars in order to instead fund life sustaining needs for people and the planet.
The events will focus on public education and on lobbying US legislators on nuclear disarmament initiatives in the State and Federal legislatures, starting with deep cuts in the Federal nuclear weapons budgets and reallocation of these funds to use in life sustaining actions, healthcare for all, renewable energy, affordable housing, re-imagining policing, immigration reform and other social benefits.
